Dear Friends of the Players That Care Foundation,

It is a great honor for my team and myself that Ms. Linda Long has decided to honor the memory of her mother by continuing her tireless fund-raising efforts for this important cause: the prevention and cure of ovarian cancer.

This is a trying time for all of us, so it is especially wonderful to see the willingness of individuals to stand up for ovarian cancer research when so many other worthy causes call for our attention.

Unfortunately, cancer still remains a signifigant public health challenge here and around the world. It is our legacy for humanity to work towards a future when cancer can be conquered.

On bealf of the 23,000 women who will be challenged by ovarian cancer this year and their families, I thank you again for your generous commitment of funds, time, and resources. may your good deeds be reflected in health and happiness for you and your loved ones.

Most Sincerely,

Sofia D. Merajver, MD, PhD
